For the 1972 Olympic Games, the Germans, not only created a mini landscape of South Germany's Bavaria state out from the old air field, developers actually utilized the debris of the 2nd war, to fill this vast land. We now see lakes, hill and open gardens, gracing the site. You are free for 45 minutes to stroll and enjoy the park.
We enter the city, and stop some distance from the Town Hall. The pedestrian zone leads you to the heard of MarienPlatz, in time to watch the lively clock striking the hour. Stop here for an hour to grab a German sausage on your own.
